1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Merakify (merakify.ai), a product of Pravaha Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Merakify is an AI-powered story development platform that provides tools for screenwriters, authors, and filmmakers. Features include AI story generation, script analysis, character development, storyboard creation, production planning, emotional arc analysis, and export capabilities.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Merakify
  • One person may not maintain more than one account

4. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

4.1 Your Content

You own all content you create on Merakify. This includes your stories, screenplays, characters, analyses, storyboards, and any other creative work generated using the platform. Merakify does not claim ownership of your content.

4.2 AI-Generated Content

Content generated by AI features (including story analysis, character descriptions, scene breakdowns, emotional arc data, and image generations) based on your input is owned by you. You are free to use, modify, publish, and commercially exploit this content.

4.3 Platform Content

The Merakify platform, its design, code, branding, and documentation are the intellectual property of Pravaha Labs. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the platform itself.

4.4 License to Provide Service

By uploading content to Merakify, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We will not use your content for training AI models, marketing, or any purpose beyond delivering the requested features.

4.5 Stylistic References to Public Figures (Idea Spark)

Idea Spark and related ideation features may invoke the public stylistic patterns commonly associated with named filmmakers, authors, or other public figures (for example, "in the style of [name]") strictly as a creative reference. Such references do not represent, imply endorsement by, affiliation with, or partnership with the named individuals or their works. AI outputs are generated independently and are the sole responsibility of the user who chooses to publish or distribute them.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the platform
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the platform without permission
  • Overload the platform through excessive API requests or abuse of AI generation features
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access
  • Use the platform to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others

6. AI Features & Limitations

  • AI-generated content is provided as creative assistance and should not be relied upon as professional legal, financial, or factual advice
  • AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content
  • AI image generation is subject to the policies of our third-party providers (Leonardo AI, OpenAI)
  • We reserve the right to limit AI generation usage to prevent abuse

7. Pricing & Credits

Merakify may offer free and paid tiers. AI features may consume credits. We reserve the right to modify pricing, credit allocations, and feature availability at any time with reasonable notice to users.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at contact@merakify.ai. Upon termination, your content may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Merakify is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pravaha Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Merakify, including but not limited to loss of content, loss of profits, or business interruption.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vijayapur, Karnataka, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
